MA Exhibition Studies
Helen Leary
Helen Leary studied degrees in BA History of Art and MA Exhibitions Studies at Liverpool John Moores. Throughout this period, she developed an interest in the representation of the climate crisis. This evolved when her practice explored the strategies for climate action within socially-engaged art practices. Particularly, British art projects; that formed her dissertation 'Climate Action in the Making: Localising the Climate Crisis through Participatory Practices'. Since completing her degree, she has worked with London-based environmental charity Thames21 and now works on coordinating activity programmes at a museum in West Sussex. She aims to use this knowledge to take her practice to the next level by collaborating with artists.
