About

The Masters in Architecture programme explores ideas through the process of design, from urban masterplans to new forms for housing we encourage innovation and exploration to create new typologies for a changing world.

This year working on thesis projects in Glasgow and Birkenhead students have produced wide ranging responses which seek to address the implications of climate change, social deprivation and the opportunities for culture led regeneration. Developing their own project briefs based on group urban masterplans students have designed; headquarters for government environmental agencies, urban farms, schools for autistic children, art galleries, biomass power stations, and almost every other building type. This diversity of projects reflects an open approach within the programme which encourages students to explore their own interests through the medium of architecture.
