My design identity revolves heavily around the concept of gender and social conformity, in which influences both of male and female gender spectrums within fashion. My work questions the social barriers in which we, as society form around and how naturally our minds are conditioned to think as the male gender in one way and female in the other- whatever way that may be. I use historical research to inform each collection, analysing the extreme laws, politics and social norms of that era and intwine it with contemporary design.
