Hi! I’m Ellie. I’m a multidisciplinary, conceptual artist and art-curator, disability advocate and "lazy" person. I have multiple hidden disabilities, and I enjoy researching and expressing my experiences as a disabled artist through the works I create, challenging the status quo of exhibitions and artists alike. In my practice, you might find me stopping and starting, my view directed by my curiosity to interact with my environment. On other days you might find me passionately questioning the books I read, constantly seeking a further understanding. Before I came to university, my previous teacher asked me what I planned to do there. I told him I will go there and create chaos, change things up. I think that’s exactly what I did.
