Lucy Henshaw is a multi-media artist who creates sculptures to explore the artists’ place in exhibition. Primarily working with polymer clay and mod rock, her work varies thematically but follows a distinct aesthetic which observes textural sculptures housed within shrine-like frames. Her practice is heavily embedded in the feminine grotesque, juxtaposing both vile and palatable imagery to create harmonious conflict.
