SYNOPSIS

Maggie Witch: One Last Shot is a documentary that follows the story of the band Maggie Witch and its members. In the wake of their decision to bring the band to an end, we join Edith Rose, Kieran Jones, Jack Youd, and Will Taylor as they reflect on their years with Maggie Witch, while also looking ahead to their next creative chapter. Focusing on the band as a collective and on each member as an individual, the film weaves a portrait of life as an independent band.
Throughout a compilation of interview clips, gig footage, and band rehearsals, the members reflect on the challenges of an independent band, as we witness them performing their final shows together, and moving onto a new creative endeavour - their new band. Dan Kelly steps into the shoes of Kieran Jones as the new guitarist, and the music shifts to a new style, showcasing the band members individual skills.
