SYNOPSIS

Phil’s diagnosed with cancer by Dr Gleason, he fails to understand and becomes disorientated by his diagnosis. He seeks help from his friend Stuart and meets him at the pub. Stuart leaves Phil with a mission to stop dwelling on his illness and to make the most of his time left, even turning Phil against his wife. Phil is openly hesitant to spend time away from her. The next day Laura demands he paints the hallway before her sister arrives. Whilst painting, Phil’s thoughts get the better of him. At work, Phil argues with his boss who criticises his lazy work. In dramatic fashion, he quits, making fun of his boss in the process. Meeting Stuart again, he realises what he’s become and regrets his actions and doesn’t want to spend the rest of his life alone. At the pub, he runs into a drunk Dr Gleason who lets him know he misunderstood and is not terminally ill. Shocked, he calls Laura, only to find out it’s too late as she sees on of his regrets.
