A world of fantasy, drama and action is created whenever people sit-down at tables and play story rich tabletop games but, the richer story is about the people behind these communities and the ups and downs in their hobby.

SYNOPSIS

Tabletop Tales is a participatory documentary which focuses on tabletop gaming specifically the more roleplay-oriented games like dungeons and dragons or pathfinder. The documentary will follow the people who play these games and their daily life like, how they set up before attending a meeting with friends, their characters in game and how they reflect on themselves through the game. A heavy focus of the documentary will be on community within the tabletop gaming scene and the relationships between players and their characters.
