About
On Tuesday 16th November we gathered for a launch of our Postgraduate Art & Design Degree Show Website Pages. This was a first chance to say hello, reconnect and join together in thinking forward as we begin to move into a new post-pandemic environment (after the 2020/2021 Masters were delivered largely online). As well as launching the new Postgraduate Art and Design Degree Show Website Pages, the launch also provided an opportunity to view some videos and pop-up work developed recently by our Graduating Students.
Kasia Redzisz (outgoing Tate Liverpool Senior Curator/incoming Artistic Director of Centre Pompidou Kanal in Brussels) announced the selection she had made for the Masters Art & Design Student Prize for 2021 Graduates.
The winner of the Prize was Fine Art student Garry Finnegan.
Other shortlisted Students were:
Emily Kelly – Graphic Design and Illustration
Macarena Morilla Dominguez – Fashion Innovation and Realisation
Emma Donnelly – Exhibition Studies
Anna Roberts – Art and Science
For his Prize, Garry Finnegan will be paid to give Lectures to our next cohort of Students. Garry will also receive 6 hours of mentoring from Masters staff of his choice, a Review of his work in ‘The Double Negative’ online magazine, extended workshop access and magazine vouchers.
