Amelia Wright is a multidisciplinary artist who works with craft-based mediums to create nostalgic interpretations of the slowly forgotten mundane yet precious. Glass, hand embroidery and pyrography intersect in their practice, each being a skill inherited from close family members— maintaining their memory through continued practice. Their work explores how seemingly boring aspects of life can become precious.
