Beth Land
Beth Land is an editorial illustrator who blends traditional and digital illustration and collage techniques to create imagery that aims to project its own brand of nonsense onto the chaotic absurdity of life. Her work offers a unique lens through which to view the world.
Beth has an affinity for narrative based illustration. Her style and inspirations lend themselves nicely to satirical, often quirky themes, and she finds great joy in making fun of political figures and portraying the everyday in off the wall, jilted ways.
SUM – 40 tales from the afterlives.
A large collection of editorial, collaged illustrations, influenced by the book ‘SUM 40 tales from the afterlives’ by David Eagleman, a speculative
and philosophical exploration of what happens when we die. Each short story imagines a different
kind of afterlife. In one tale, you might work as a background character in others' dreams. In another
scenario, you may find that the universe is running in reverse, or that you're condemned to spend
your afterlife with irritating versions of who you might have become.
