The Solid Statues of My Faith

Ciara Denton uses photography, fabric, and print to explore her shifting relationship with Catholicism. Her work blends ritual materials, light, and gesture to reflect on faith, doubt, and identity. Influenced by Renaissance sculpture and Contemporary photographers, she creates contemplative, layered imagery. Her latest series, The Solid Statues of My Faith, debuts at the 2025 Liverpool John Moores Degree Show.
