Samuel James Alcock is a self-proclaimed sexual deviant and transgender menace based in Northwest England. His artwork captures a deep sense of desire, desire of the man he so desperately wants to be and the unsavoury sex he wants to have. Samuel has a deep fascination and desire towards the erotic, he is autistic and describes that sleazy queer sex and BDSM is his hyper-fixation. His work serves to distract from reality whilst also heightening it. A juxtaposition that that follows him through life, being so infatuated by a subject but feeling as though he is alienated from the community or society in general due to being neurodivergent or being queer. The work primarily manifests as high detailed monochromatic ballpoint pen drawings, creating depth and shading through layering crosshatching almost obsessive-compulsively which speaks to how he feels about the subject of his work.
