“Tits, Tums and Bums”

My artwork explores the intersection of bright colours and feminist themes, focusing on bodyweight and societal pressures of dietary patriarchy. Through a vibrant colour palette and bold compositions, I challenge traditional beauty standards and include diverse body types. Each piece I create invites viewers to reconsider their beliefs of comfort and self acceptance in the world, often dominated by unrealistic ideals.
By incorporating elements that symbolise nourishment and empowerment, whilst including symbolic bold digital imaging that pressures the dietary patriarchy along with feminist opinions on body weight, I highlight the importance of embracing ones body without the constraints of societal expectations. My work serves a visual political statement advocating for body positivity, and the rejection of harmful dietary norms for women.
