Lu Isaula draws upon her Honduran heritage, literature and the natural world around her to create vibrant and playful illustrations. Inspired by the work of Shirley Hughes and Eric Carle, colour and playfulness are key elements of Lu's work. She wants her work to be educational, fun and free-spirited and uses a mixed-media approach in her practice.
