Everton Morning for Dotty

Ren Yeates Black is a multidisciplinary installation artist and community-based curator. Their work tackles individual experiences of grief and memory loss, using personal collections of sound recordings and natural substances, to weave relationships between materials and people. Organic matter plays an important role in their work, allowing it to transition from community green spaces to traditional “white cube” galleries, tapping into the universal, yet intimate relationships between people and nature.
