Broadcasting Correspondence

Artist Tabitha Gray has a processed based practice, mainly using print making, to explore typical media consumption differentiated with the consumption of contemporary art. Her work investigates themes of hate speech and misinformation as fuels for violence, as well as exploring our overexposure to violence and suffering in the media. Gray emphasizes media’s role in desensitizing viewers by contrasting fast-paced media outlets with labour intensive print making.
