Carys Kilduff
Carys Kilduff is a 25-year-old non-binary person from Merseyside. They are interested in Prehistoric European art and the connection between past humans and our current selves. Carys often indulges in various forms of media, allowing the process to lead the project, but has a love for printmaking and photography.
Carys’ research project titled 'It’s Just Me and These Rocks’, is an exploration of Northumberland’s Neolithic Rock Markings. During site visits to a number of sites at risk from both human and natural erosion in Northumberland, Carys used various methods to collect data, both objective & subjective, about the landscape, the markings & the environment. Using the information gathered & reflected upon, Carys hopes to increase public engagement & appreciation with the Neolithic Rock Art in Northumberland that is under threat from climate change.
